Emeli Jeremias is a swedish cellist and musician. She has, beside the classical repertoire somewhat focused on improvisation and contemporary music. Emeli has played with various singer/songwriters and poets from for example Sweden, USA, Denmark, Switzerland . She also writes and arranges music herself.
Together with her brothers, Olof and Oskar, and other great musicians, she runs “De Tröstlösas Orkester“. A band, a musical oasis.
Chamber music is another passion for Emeli and she has a great love for the string quartet. In different constellations she has been giving concerts in Sweden and abroad.
Emeli is also an educated journalist and from time to time she writes in different swedish newspapers and magazines.
